and a day-nursery construction in Tegucigalpa
It doesn't exist more useful project as far as social, political and economic aspects concerned than the investment for Childhood. The children's success at school depends on their harmonious development in the nutritional and physical aspect, and on their acquisition of values and respect of their rights, defined by the Convention for the rights of the Child. |

In this view, the Hondurian association Koinonia, Espoir sans Frontières' partner, prepares and sensitizes the staff which takes care of children, their mothers and fathers or their responsibles, so that the child is treated as a person and not as an object. It pays a total attention to childhood in order to help to overcome the social problems.
The day-nurseries are designed to boys and girls between zero and six and a half years old who present a social risk. Thus, they can live in a family background, a warm environment, as other children who are in normal situation. Moreover, they receive help, support, counselling, security, motivation and sense of belonging. A balanced food brings them every day a better physical development.
The day-nurseries' staff help the youngest children to develop their mental, emotional, social and physical capacities with the stimulation of their intelligence, motivity and their personality.
On top of the emotional attention given, a particular attention is paid on the morale and citizen values, developping their good habits and rejecting the daily scourges organized by mafia gang opened to drugs, alcohol and prostitution and which are particularly active in the recruitment of young children of the district...
The wanted and developed aim is to give a preparatory education for primary school to these children.
