A professional high school.

At the same time as the construction of the Care Unit in the district of Koumassi in Abidjan, Salesian Sisters approached Espoir sans Frontières to take charge of the schooling and professionnalization of the district's young girls.

After the analyse of needs, we realized that it was possible to create a boarding school which can receive 650 pupils, a figure doubled for the day reception, in order to favour the youg girls' schooling.

Thus, it was built in 1995. It remained to equip and to favour professional teaching development.
Over the years, this school has adapted to the needs of a marginilized population as these young girls, recruited into prostitution, who could integrate a home within school, where they learn to live with dignity before to definitely come back with their family.
