Without the Salesian Sisters' call in El Salvador, Espoir sans Frontières would never have been able to mobilze to meet the specific requests of basic goods on May 2001.According to an unanswerable logistics after so many experiences for Espoir, containers of new goods given by our longstanding french firm partners crossed the Atlantic Ocean to arrive in the Guatmelan port of Santo Tomas de Castilla, El Salvador was too destroyed to receive them.
In a road convoy guided by our local partner through in passing countries, they finally arrived to El Salvador, four weeks later to be distributed to the most affected population.
